Kate Middleton, Duchess Of Cambridge Planning To Charm Down Under With ...
With the popularity of the royals on the increase Down Under thanks to the arrival of Prince George and the romances of Prince Harry and William, it's clear the palace are going all out to show off their own jewel in the crown - the glamorous Duchess - and will be decking her out in some of the most expensive jewels on the planet a new report has claimed.
A source told The Mirror that like Princess Diana when in 1985, Kate's wardrobe will be finished off with key pieces from the Queen's own jewellery collection.
"Just like Princess Diana 30 years ago, the eyes of the world will be on Kate when she goes on this tour," the royal source claimed.
"It's a landmark trip for her, her first trip to Australia and New Zealand, countries which are extremely important to the Queen and Commonwealth." As previously reported, Kate is said to be adjusting her look to be a little more stately as not just the future queen but also the mother of the future king.
"Significantly, it's also her first royal tour as a mother, and the fact they are taking Prince George will attract huge interest," they added.
"It's fitting that she will use the opportunity to show off some of the royal family's jewellery - particularly pieces that have links to the countries she is visiting."
Kate has already been taking advantage of the Queen's extensive and exceptional jewellery collection and recently wore the priceless Nizam of Hyderabad necklace for a charity gala at the National Portrait Gallery, which was given to the monarch as a wedding present in 1947.
