James Pryce, Kate Middleton Hairstylist, Cut Off By Royal Family

James Pryce, Kate Middleton's longtime hairstylist, once described his eight-year relationship with her one "that's been built on trust and discretion."

Apparently he violated one or the other, though, because he's out.

The Telegraph reports that, since leaving the Richard Ward Salon after the royal wedding, Pryce has fallen out of favor with the Duchess of Cambridge.

"Richard Ward still cuts Kate's hair and she has color done at the salon," an inside says, "Plus, she has her stylist, Amanda Cook Tucker, who blow dries her hair."

"James has really been pushed out."

While Kate Middleton has had her share of stylists over the years, her bond with Pryce was particularly noteworthy, as she was seeing him since 2003.

As soon as she was engaged, she called him in to style her hair for the engagement announcement. Then, of course, Pryce created THE wedding hair.

So where did it all go wrong for the man?

Soon after joining Kate Middleton and Prince William for their tour of North America, he left his post as creative director at Richard Ward's salon.

Supposedly, to make a name for himself.

"He launched a Facebook page and Twitter account which featured hundreds of pictures of Kate and her various hairstyles to promote his business," says the source.

"Obviously, that did not go down too well with the Palace."

Perhaps if Pryce had used a more of that aforementioned "trust and discretion," he would still be styling Kate's hair ... which still looks awesome without him.
