Kate Middleton, Duchess Of Cambridge And Prince William Heading For Fun At ...

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge will be heading for a night at the Natural History Museum in London next month, where they'll attend a screening of a new documentary by Sir David Attenborough.


The busy couple, who also have the royal premiere of Mandela: A Long Walk To Freedom coming up, will be heading to the South Kensington Museum on December 11 for an advanced screening of Attenborough's Natural History Museum Alive 3D. The documentary, which will see the legendary naturist bring extinct creatures to life through 3D technology, will be aired next year on Sky.

It's not the first time the Duchess has met Sir Attenborough. Last November she opened the Museum's Treasures exhibition before becoming a patron of the in April this year. Director Dr Michael Dixon said of the honour at the time: "I am delighted that The Duchess has chosen to be the Patron for the Natural History Museum. It is a testament to how much this place inspires all who visit.


"When she was here last November it was clear to me how much she shares our passion for understanding and maintaining the diversity of our planet."


He went on: "I very much look forward to involving her more in our work and hope she may join us in inspiring the next generation." Speaking last November the royal admitted she was quite the fan on the museum.

"William and I are just two of millions of people who have passed through these doors, and marvelled at the spectacular wonders of the natural world, housed in this beautiful gallery.‪ I care passionately about what this museum stands for."
