Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge's brunette locks have always been the new Royal's crowning glory, but it seems the hairdresser behind her variety of dos, James Pryce, isn't the one seeing to the her tumbling curls anymore and according to a new report has been "pushed out" of the stylist team after upsetting the Palace.

Kate, who has been a client at Richard Ward's Chelsea salon for years, entrusted her locks to Pryce for her 2011 Royal Wedding as well as the tour of North America which followed that Summer. But after the stylist used pics of Kate to promote his work, he reportedly fell out of royal favour.

"Richard Ward still cuts Kate's hair and she has her colour done at the salon," a source to Pryce allegedly told The Telegraph.

"Plus, she has her stylist, Amanda Cook Tucker, who blow dries her hair for events, but James has really been pushed out."

Referring to Pryce, the insider explained: "When he went solo and tried to tour around the USA - he launched a Facebook page and Twitter account which featured hundreds of pictures of Kate and her various hairstyles to promote his business - obviously, that did not go down too well with the Palace at all."

The insider went on to disclose that the hairdresser is now working at another salon, but hasn't got the royal client he once did. "He only works three days a week," the source added.

According to The Mirror Kate's chosen princess Diana's hairdresser Jon Bailey, to tend to her locks on the as yet unconfirmed royal tour to Australia that's believed to be planned for next year.
