Kate Middleton's grey hairs are gone as she steps out in recycled Orla Kiely ...

Long gone silver: Kate arrives for her visit to crime prevention charity Only Connect

The Duchess of Cambridge shuns a new frock in favour of an old faithful for a charity event today.

Looking radiant and relaxed, Kate's hair appeared darker than at her last public engagement two weeks ago when it was noted she had a few silver hairs on show.

It appeared the busy mum had touched out the greys and had her hair line done for a visit to crime prevention charity Only Connect in North London.

She caused quite a stir when she first wore this dove print Orla Kiely dress to The Art Room in Oxford last year.

The Birdie wool jacquard dress was on sale for £162.50, down from £325, and thanks to the "Copy Kate" effect it sold out in minutes.

Kate also recycled a pair of brown £297 Aquatalia boots with the long-sleeved designer dress coat, which has buttons in the centre and a pleated skirt.

Kate isn't afraid to wear something she likes again (and again) and doesn't need a new outfit every time she steps out.

And the Middleton's clearly love Irish designer Orla, who is renowned for her stand-out prints and retro colours.

Mum Carole Middleton wore her spring/summer 2012 Dancing Girls tea dress to meet her new grandson in July.

Kate also wore a steel grey dress from her autumn/winter 2011 collection to the Dulwich Picture Gallery in March 2012.

The designer said at the time: "When Kate wears one of your designs you get a boost. The phone was ringing off the hook - and one of my team counted over 800 Google alerts.

"But it was the end of the season so we didn't have many of the dresses in stock. But it's a nice thing to happen."

Something tells me her phone will be busy again today.
