Kate Middleton And Prince William: Inside Their New Luxury, Bullet Proof ...
Known as the 'Flying Spur' the Bentley supercar will make sure the royal couple are safely delivered to all their engagements. According to the Bentley Motor's website, the car is designed for those who demand "unrestrained luxury alongside uncompromising performance," which undoubtedly fits the bill for a royal vehicle.
Confirming the Duke and Duchess were using the luxury vehicle their spokesperson confirmed to Hello magazine: "The Bentley is being leased by the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry for official engagements, which is no different to any other member of the Royal family."
The car is extra secure, including triple glazed, bullet-proof windows which are 1.5 inches thick as well as hardened steel armour and tyres that won't deflate if punctured. And it's not just the exterior of the car that suits the royals, inside the passengers are treated to a luxurious ride.
As well as DVD players, intergrated Wi-Fi and massage and heating options for the seats it also boats a champagne cooler - so we doubt the couple will get bored being ferried to and from events.
With new arrival baby George, we're not surprised the couple are taken every precaution when it comes to their safety.
Kate and Wills used the 'Flying Spur' last week when they attended an engagement at the Natural History Museum. The couple were guests of honour at a preview of Sir David Attenborough's 3D documentary, where the legendary broadcaster brings back to life his favourite extinct animals.
It's believed the night out was the last time we'll see the couple in an official capacity in 2013. They'll be heading to Sandringham, the Queen's Norfolk estate next week for the royal's Christmas celebrations.
It's believed baby Prince George will have both sides of his family present for his first Christmas, as the Queen has reportedly invited the Middletons for the holiday. The couple won't need their luxury ride over Christmas though, as the royals traditionally walk to church on Christmas Day where they greet well wishers following the service on the estate.
