It's already 1,000 days since the wedding of Prince William and his stunning bride Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey captivated three billion people around the world.
From the start of their fairytale romance, Kate, 32, has gone from being a shy fashion student and buyer for high-end fashion chain Jigsaw to the mother of the heir to the throne and one of the most photographed women in the world.
To commemorate her 1,000th day as a Royal, we look at some of the most significant moments in her life since she became part of the Monarchy.
Fashion conscious Kate stepped out in a £49.99 blue Zara dress for her first appearance after the wedding, emerging from Buckingham Palace to go on her UK mini-moon.
Kate was then left home alone in Anglesey, Wales, while William went back to work at his RAF base but soon settled in to married life, and was spotted out and about pushing her trolley around Waitrose.
Next came her first official tour of America along with her husband to California on July 10 2011, where they were the toast of Hollywood and mingled with fellow Brit David Beckham at a party at the home of Dame Barbara Hay.
Then, in September 2011, Kate showed her compassionate side when she joined William to open a new £18 million wing the Oak Centre at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where he is a patron.
For her first Christmas as a Royal, Kate spent a day making mince piece with clients of the Centrepoint homeless charity in Camberwell in South London, before enjoying the rest of the holidays at Sandringham with the Royal Family.
At the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in June 2012, Kate was the style queen as she stepped out in a lace Alexander McQueen dress at St Paul's Cathedral, before appearing on the balcony on Buckingham Palace with the rest of the family where she'd captivated the world with 'that kiss' just a year earlier on her wedding day.
Three months later in September 2012, the Duchess was splashed across the media for the wrong reasons, when topless photos of her taken at their villa in the South of France hit the press.
But Kate bounced back, being the epitome of grace and cool on her nine day tour of Asia and the South Pacific, where she chatted to terminally ill children in Malaysia and loin cloth clad warriors in the Solomon Islands.
After months of rumours, on December 3 2012, St James' Palace announced that the Duchess was pregnant. Her father-in-law Prince Charles told of his joy, saying: "It's a very nice thought to become a grandfather in my old age."
But Kate had a difficult pregnancy, suffering with with extreme morning sickness, Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which saw her hospitalised just as her baby joy was announced.
She was soon back to her best, and attended her first public engagement since the news was announced, presenting Olympic cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins with his BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award on December 17 2012.
Kate carried on with her Royal duties throughout her pregnancy, and after a 12 hour labour her first son George was born on July 22 2013.
The new mum recharged her batteries by calling out for a couple of Zizzi pizzas which were delivered by Royal Protection Officers to the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington.
The following day, dressed in a similar blue polka-dat dress that William's own mother Diana wore when she showed him off to the world for the first time, and wearing her Sapphire engagement, she enchanted the world's media as she cuddled her son and posed for his first official picture.
Just three months later on October 18, the yummy mummy drew gasps from women across the globe when she showed her flat tummy as she jumped up to hit a volleyball at a SportsAid Workshop.
Then Kate and William celebrated the birth of their first son at his Christening at the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace on October 23 2013, with photographer Jason Bell capturing the official images.
On December 3, the day Nelson Mandela died, Kate attended the premiere of Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom at the Odeon Leicester Square and wept as the news of his death broke.
After Christmas at Sandringham and New Year with the Middleton's at Bucklebury in Berkshire, Kate celebrated her 32nd birthday on January 9 with a quiet meal with William at Kensington Palace.
With rumours of a second pregnancy being rife, it looks like 2014 could be another bumper year for the Duchess too.
