Would Kate Middleton Let Fans Pay To Meet Prince George? Crazy Money ...
By Rebecca Merriman On January 29, 2014
Following reports the Queen's finance aren't looking too great, royal watchers have been suggesting various ways the monarch could earn a bit of extra cash - including charging people to meet Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George.
Yes it might appear to be a ludicrous suggestion but that's what E!Online asked CNN Royal Commentator Victoria Arbiter regarding royal money making schemes, despite the fact little George is just seven months old.

It was reported this week that the Queen had over spent on her allowance. A report published by the Commons Public Accounts Committee, released on Monday, Jan.27, stated the Queen is: "Spending above their means and dipping into the reserves...the balance now stands at an all-time low."
But don't expect Prince George to be for hire, With Arbiter making it clear to the US site: "Never going to happen. We've only had a couple of photographs of Prince George and he just hit the six month mark."

Responding to the report, Arbiter claimed the Queen is always looking to cut back on spending, but that it will be more traditional avenues to raise funds than paid public appearances: "There are going to be a number of suggestions put on the table. What has been incredibly successful, Buckingham Palace was originally opened in an effort to pay for the renovation of Windsor Castle following the fire in 1992. And it was such a successful venture that they decided to keep that going.

"That has been one way they have been quite creative in terms of raising revenue and that money does go to the upkeep of the palaces. So I think they are going to have to look at ways they can get creative in that way, whether that is opening up more palaces or more private rooms or more areas that have not been open to the public before."
