Kate Middleton, Prince William's new nanny's name revealed

The royal family has welcomed an addition to their clan.

Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo is the new nanny for Kate Middleton and Prince William's little one, a palace rep told Us Weekly.

Prince George's au pair trained at Norland College, an educational institution well-known for their high standards in training nannies.

Like any caring parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were looking for "someone they can trust and can look after their baby to the best of their ability," Claire Burgess, a Norland Nanny who trains other nannies, told People.

Borrallo will join the royals as they tour New Zealand and Australia, according to a palace source.

While "totally dedicated to the family" she was previously working with, Borrallo is now a resident of Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace, People confirmed.

The Spanish nanny joins a small royal staff of three, which also includes a housekeeper and a driver/orderly.

The intimate number of help was intentional as the 31-year-old Prince and Middleton, 32, would want "to keep the number of people coming and going from the home to a minimum, so I think they would have most likely have one person doing the majority of the care," Burgess added.

The royal parents must be relieved to have permanent help now as they previously enlisted the assistance of Middleton's mother, Carole Middleton, and later temporarily hired 71-year-old Jessie Webb, who was nanny to Prince William and Harry when they were little boys.

"They are being sensible in trying to keep it as personal as possible," Burgess added about hiring Borrallo prior to their scheduled world travels. "Hopefully they will be able to enjoy their baby away from the media and experience parenthood."

Prince George isn't the only one being kept from the spotlight. Borrallo's privacy is also being held to high regard by the palace.

"We will not be giving further details on Maria or her employment," a palace rep told Us Weekly, "except to say that the Duke and Duchess are of course delighted she has chosen to join them."
