Kate Middleton Shouldn't Be Slammed for Missing Prince George's Milestone
When we first heard Kate Middleton and Prince William had taken off to Maldives for a romantic holiday, we were thrilled the couple was able to sneak off to enjoy some well-deserved one-on-one time! But now, the royal couple may be kicking themselves for jetting off.
While they were hitting the beach at the Cheval Blanc Randheli resort in early March, 8-month-old Prince George reportedly crawled for the very first time while staying with his grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton in Bucklebury, claims a source in the new issue of Us Weekly. Ugh.
I can't help but wonder if whoever broke this news thought of perhaps biting their tongue, so Kate and Wills could see George do it again and be none the wiser that it was actually his second or third time? Perhaps ignorance would've been bliss, hmm?
But all right, what's done is done. They know now. And fingers crossed they aren't beating themselves up about having missed it! No parent should feel tremendously pressured to be present for every first. Also, I really hope that in light of this, tongues won't wag that they were wrong to go away while George is still so little. Although, never mind, I'm sure that has already happened plenty since news of their vacay hit.
Thankfully, it sounds like they're actually handling the situation with a healthy, positive outlook. The insider elaborates, " William and Kate are excited about the many milestones ahead. George already has a tiny tooth coming in. And his cheeks are chubbier than ever!"
Ahhh, cuteness overload! Cheers to all of the next milestones, which the royal couple will most certainly celebrate to the max!
