Kate Middleton, Duchess Of Cambridge: Will It Be A Second Pregnancy in 2014?

It might seem like Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge only just gave birth to first child Prince George, but with Prince William admitting previously he wants at least two children, 2014 could bring a second royal pregnancy.

While some of us feel like those days on the steps of the Lindo Wing were just yesterday, it's actually almost half a year since little George arrived on July 22 and as we look forward to another year filled with Royal excitement it's hard to not hope he might have another little brother or sister along soon.

William admitted months before Kate's pregnancy was confirmed that he wanted two children with his wife, during the royal tour to South East Asia in September 2012. The question is when?

Both Kate and William are close in age to their siblings, with Pippa arriving just one year and seven months after her eldest sister so it wouldn't be too surprising if the brunette is eager to follow her mother's lead and have children close together.

After all, Pippa is a great support to her big sister and with the pressures of royal life we're sure the couple would hope their children were close to one another. If Kate went for a similar age gap we could see another pregnancy being announced in late Summer, for a 2015 birth.

Prince Harry and William certainly know about the help a royal sibling can be. The boys are born just two years and two months apart. If it was around a two year gap the Duchess would still be pregnant by the end of 2014 as Prince George will celebrate his second birthday in July 2015.

Looking at their already busy schedule for 2014 it looks like the couple won't be able to fit in a pregnancy until the end of the year. In January, Prince William will be heading back to school for a 10 week agricultural management course at Cambridge University as he prepares to take over the Duchy of Cornwall from his father Prince Charles.

Kate and Wills are also heading to Australia in April for a royal tour of Oz and New Zealand, so it's doubtful she'll want to be pregnant for such an undertaking.

Keep an eagle eye out for a baby bump in 2014, because we have a feeling we could be back to the Lindo Wing before you can say royal baby!
