While the world might have been a wee bit disappointed that Prince George didn't make an appearance at Christmas Day services at the Queen's Sandringham Estate with his parents on Wednesday, that didn't stop everyone from singing the praises of Kate Middleton 's festive ensemble. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a tartan McQ by Alexander McQueen coat dress to celebrate the holiday, topped off with a matching fascinator by Gina Foster.

Because the Queen runs a tight ship when it comes to the Christmas schedule, this wasn't Middleton's only look of the day: She was also snapped in a fitted cream coat and a red tartan scarf. While she looked gorgeous as always, we hope she was able to spend a few hours dressed down with Baby George, enjoying her first Christmas as a mum.
