Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton isn't just a mama. She might be a godmama soon, too. There are a few reports swirling around, saying that the Duchess of Cambridge may become the godmother of Zara Tindall's baby, Mia Grace Tindall. Zara, for those of you who don't know, is William's cousin and one of Prince George's godparents.

The future Queen of England as a godparent? Uh, yes please! Doesn't get much better than that!

Now, to be clear, although having Boss Lady of the UK as a godparent would clearly have its perks, that's not the only reason Kate would make a great godparent. She would make a great godparent because she oozes awesomeness like it's her job, yo. Also, Zara was one of the Duke and Duchess' first picks for a godparent for their son, so it would kinda be polite to return the favor. I mean, Pippa's not even a godparent, for cryin' out loud!

And also, there's the fact that Kate is a good role model -- something that's crucial to being a godparent. She's poised, articulate, and seems to have a good handle on raising a baby under media scrutiny. Kate's a good resource for Zara, as well, since she's going through all things baby a few months earlier. And little Georgie and Mia are so close in age! Think of all the adorable godbaby playdates they'd have!

I'm assuming we'll hear who the godparents are some time in the very near future. But, Zara, if you're reading this (and I know you are), I have five words for you: Kate, Kate, and more Kate!
