Kate Middleton had breakfast in bed on Boxing Day and enjoyed playtime with ...

Details of how Kate, 31, spent December 26 have all been revealed and a lot of it revolved around her baby boy Prince George.

Us Weekly claim that the new mother and her husband Prince William continued their festivities at the Queen's Sandringham retreat in Norfolk on Thursday - and this included having breakfast in bed.

Chef Darren McGrady told the publication that the breakfast yesterday consisted of "hearty food" for the men, whilst the women were brought up "meals on trays" whilst they were still in bed at 8am.

The royal insiders added that at 10am, Kate played with George at the house, before Nanny Webb then took over at midday so that she and the ladies could ste off on the mile-long walk for lunch in Dershingham woods.

"The chefs send a trailer packed with cottage pies and beef stews," McGrady continued.

Come the afternoon, Kate and William apparently said their goodbyes and headed off for the 157-mile drive to the Middletons' Bucklebury home so that they could spend the rest of the day with grandparents Carole and Michael, plus Kate's siblings Pippa and James.
